A Canton Staple Since 1976.
One family, one building on Ford Rd, and a whole lot of Fridays.
The Rusty Nail Lounge welcomed its first customers in 1976. It was started by the Johnson family, who still own and operate the lounge today.
Before it was the Rusty Nail, there were two other businesses in the building — including a speakeasy that dates back to the 1930s. We don't make a theme out of it, but it's part of why the place feels the way it does.
As Canton changes, so does the Rusty Nail. There have been a lot of upgrades and changes over the years, but we still haven't lost that hometown vibe many of our customers know and love. We see friends from around the block, and friends who haven't been in for a long time but still make a point to stop by, chat with the staff and get something good to eat.
The Rusty Nail is constantly evolving, just like our community. The goal is for it to feel right for right now. So come on in and be part of our story.

The building's neighborhood story begins. By local account, it operated as a speakeasy in this stretch of Canton.
